Fusion started just fine yesterday, now nothing. No drastic overnight temp changes and no lights left on (my dad smokes out in the garage so he’d notice a light left on.)

Kinja'd!!!

The screens and lights inside went crazy and the horn started blaring when we first turned the key. The hell, Ford?

Guess we'll see what happens tomorrow morning. My mom is not gonna be a happy person if she ends up having to take the Silverado though.

I knew it was gonna be a problem when the day we took delivery it had an appointment to go back to the dealer already to fix the alarm system.

Yeah, that’s not a good sign. This car reminds me of my ill-fated Malibu.

Lol, my 4Runner sets off the alarm when it’s battery gets disconnected and then reconnected.

It wasn’t like an alarm honkhonkhonk just a constant blare until the battery died enough for it to stop.

I have the exact same battery charger.

Everytime I put it back in the box, and under my workbench a battery needs charging.

That’s how it always goes. It sits out in the garage for months at a time and then finally gets taken back down in the basement then a battery in one of our cars dies.

Yep. It’s the aftermarket alarm in mine. The owner installed a kill switch, but sometimes you just have to disconnect it

2014.

It’s a dealer installed remote start system that’s *supposed* to play nice with the factory alarm.
